About Us

We at Abhayasharma  have been striving to achieve this goal. Only when a woman is heard, she will be able to get solutions to her problems. We have been making a difference to the lives of woman in need of support. In our untiring effort, it is the donors who have been a constant support. We would like to place on record our heartfelt gratitude towards the large hearted donors whose timely help is enabling us to keep the home running and to reach out to those in need.

Also I have thank all MC members and staff members for their contribution in our sustained efforts.

In a major act of stream living, the Central Government has introduced MISSON SHAKTHI a broadbased scheme integrating all the schemes  relating to the girl child and women under a single umbrella. Accordingly all Swadhaar grehs have been merged with Shakthi Sadana. However we continue our services as before under Navachethana-short stay home.

Our day care center cares for children below the age of six of working mothers. Our Vatsalya wing has students from 6-18 years of age who are pursuing studies in various schools and collages. Students above the age of 18 are housed in a separate Abhayashrama wing. Students are enrolled in various stream and courses. Apart from studies, we are able to provide many facilities to the children for their holistic development.

We continue to train woman in tailoring, beauty treatment and computers. We are planning to expand our training services.

In Our pursuit for being an environment friendly institution, this year we were able to tap solar energy for our lighting purpose as well. Also, an elaborate rain water harvesting system has been installed. Apart from using the purified rain water, We are also recharging the ground water.
